We’re testing The Birthday Envelope, our free three-puzzle sample. Honest feedback helps us spot confusing clues and make the instructions clearer.
Taking part is optional. There’s no purchase or public-review requirement, and the sample is free whether or not you send feedback.
Three simple steps
Get ready, and time the setup.
Download the three-page PDF. Start timing when you open the adult setup instructions on page 2; stop when you are ready to explain the activity. Note any time spent waiting for the printer separately.
Print page 1 for the players. Keep pages 2 and 3 for yourself. Use the supplied guide, with no extra preparation or help from us.

Supervise the group, follow the guide and offer its hints when needed. Note which hints you use, how long play takes and whether the group finishes. If something is confusing or stops play, record it. You do not have to make the test succeed.
Afterwards, check the three answer explanations yourself and tell us if any still do not make sense. Keep answers away from players until they are finished.
Send us the honest version.
A short email is enough. The button opens a draft with prompts for your setup time, hints, completion and anything confusing or disappointing. Edit it before sending.
Before sending: we use Proton Mail and may use OpenAI’s assistance tools to review feedback and prepare replies. Please read our privacy policy and leave out children’s identifying details.
